Daikokuten is the god of wealth, commerce and agriculture. Often depicted with a mallet and standing upon rice bales, he symbolizes prosperity, abundance and the rewards of hard work.
As one of the Seven Gods of Fortune, Daikokuten represents the power of growth, where effort, patience and opportunity come together to create lasting fortune. This expression reflects his bold and generous character.
Matured in a 2nd-fill Bourbon barrel with a heavily peated profile and bottled at 61.9% ABV, the whisky delivers both richness and intensity. Notes of smoky peat, toasted oak and dark caramel unfold alongside hints of roasted nuts and warming spice, balanced by a subtle sweetness beneath the smoke. With only 187 bottles released worldwide, it stands as a powerful tribute to the abundant spirit of Daikokuten.
Nose: Delicate peat and dried hay open into lush fruit, with notes of citrus, peach, orange, coriander and vanilla.
Taste: Earthy peat intertwines with orange and peach, lifted by black pepper, liquorice and a touch of minerality.
Finish: Long and seductive, with peat, bright citrus, creamy vanilla and a hint of spice in perfect balance.
