Takarabune marks the grand finale of the Seven Gods of Fortune series. In Japanese mythology, the Takarabune is the legendary treasure ship on which the Seven Gods travel together, carrying happiness, prosperity and good fortune. For the first time, all seven characters unite in one expression, bringing the story to its conclusion.
Distilled on 25 February 2016 and bottled in February 2026, this 10-year-old Single Cask Chichibu Single Malt matured in a first-fill Bourbon barrel. Bottled at a powerful 64.7% ABV, it reflects the precision, balance and distinctive character for which Chichibu is known.
Produced from carefully selected Propino barley, the whisky reveals a refined and classic profile of fruit, vanilla and tropical notes, balanced by creamy sweetness and elegant freshness. With only 144 bottles released worldwide, Takarabune is a highly limited expression and the final chapter of the Seven Gods of Fortune.
Each bottle is crowned with a specially designed, substantial collector's stopper, created exclusively for this release and completing the grand finale of the series.
Nose: A classic Chichibu profile with abundant fruit and vanilla. Fresh notes blend with tropical fruit and a soft, creamy sweetness.
